The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will conclude the registration for the North Eastern States and Union Territories (NEUT) counseling 2025 on June 30, 2025, at 5 PM. This process facilitates admissions to engineering, technology, architecture, and pharmacy courses in AICTE-approved institutes for candidates from eight North-Eastern states (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura) and five Union Territories (Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Lakshadweep, Ladakh). The counseling is based on JEE Main 2025 ranks.

  • Registration: June 23, 2025 (10 AM) to June 30, 2025 (5 PM)
  • Choice Filling: June 24, 2025 (10 AM) to July 9, 2025 (5 PM)
  • Document Verification: June 24, 2025 to July 4, 2025
  • First Round Seat Allotment: July 15, 2025 (5 PM)

Eligibility

Candidates must:

  • Be domiciled in one of the specified North-Eastern states or Union Territories.
  • Have qualified JEE Main 2025.
  • Have passed Class XII (or equivalent) in 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025, or have results pending by December 31, 2025.

Registration Process

  1. Visit csab.nic.in.
  2. Click on the “CSAB NEUT 2025” tab and select the registration link.
  3. Log in using your JEE Main 2025 application number, password, and security pin.
  4. Complete the application form and upload required documents (e.g., Class XII marks sheet, category/domicile certificates) in JPG or PDF format.
  5. Submit and download the confirmation for future reference.

Seat Allotment

  • Approximately 2,000 seats in North-Eastern states and 740 seats in Union Territories are available.
  • Two rounds of seat allotment will be conducted, with a possible spot round for vacant seats.
  • Results are accessible online using JEE Main 2025 credentials.

Important Notes

  • Candidates must review the Business Rules and Seat Matrix on the CSAB website.
  • No registration fee is required, but a seat acceptance fee is mandatory post-allotment.
  • The process is distinct from JoSAA and other CSAB rounds (Special, Supernumerary).
