What’s the Deal?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened a retest portal for CUET UG 2025 Accountancy candidates after complaints about out-of-syllabus questions (looking at you, Unit V) in exams from May 13 to 16, 2025. If you took the test during those dates, you can either keep your score or opt for a retest with a revised paper pattern starting May 22.

New Exam Pattern

Choice Time: You can now pick between questions from Unit V or an optional unit.
Core Content: Units I to IV remain unchanged, as per the original syllabus.
When It Starts: The new pattern kicks in from May 22, 2025.

Retest Option

Who’s Eligible: Anyone who appeared for the Accountancy paper between May 13 and 16, 2025.
What You Can Do: Choose to retain your original score or take the retest with the updated format.
How to Choose: Visit cuet.nta.nic.in and log in with your application number and password to select your option.

Other Updates

Canceled Exams: Tests on May 13 (Shift II) and May 14 (Shifts I and II) at Kite Polytechnic, Srinagar, were canceled due to technical issues. New dates are TBD.
Postponed Cities: Exams in 15 cities (Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Rajasthan) were deferred due to geopolitical tensions. Stay tuned for rescheduling details.
Admit Cards: For exams from May 19 to 24, admit cards are out. Download them at cuet.nta.nic.in.
