The Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department has released the First Year Junior College (FYJC) CAP Round 1 seat allotment results for 2025 on June 30, 2025, after a delay from the initial June 26 schedule due to technical issues and a court case. Over 12.7 lakh students applied for 18,97,526 seats available under the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) across 9,435 junior colleges in regions including Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Amravati, Kolhapur, Latur, and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.

Key Details

  • Result Access: Students can check their allotment status on the official portal, mahafyjcadmissions.in, using their application ID and password. SMS notifications will also be sent to candidates.
  • Admission Confirmation: Candidates allotted seats must confirm their admission between June 30 and July 7, 2025, by visiting the assigned college for document verification and fee payment. Those not satisfied with their allotted college can opt to participate in Round 2 without confirming the current allotment.
  • Round 2 Schedule: The second admission round begins on July 9, 2025, for students not allotted seats or seeking better options. Vacant seats will be displayed on July 5.
  • Seat Matrix: A total of 21,23,040 seats are available, with 2,25,514 reserved under in-house, management, and minority quotas. The in-house quota now applies only to schools and junior colleges on the same premises under the same management.

  3. Log in with your application ID and password.
  4. View and download the allotment letter for future reference.
