Whether it's science, math, social science, Hindi, and English. One thing is for sure, students want to score in all these subjects. To achieve their desired score in class 9th math, they always take shortcuts. But these shortcuts are not always right.


Simply because we learn a lot of things in 9th grade that are important for higher grades. If we take shortcuts in class, we end up not learning those vital things.

Note; Scoring good marks is easy. But focusing only on scores is not a good habit.

If you wish to score well in class 9th math, Then you should change your behavior towards your learning skills.

Scoring well in class 9th and class 11th doesn't count. Because no one is going to ask you about your class 9th and class 11th scores. Both these classes are count as learning classes. Because these classes are meant to create a base for a student for higher classes.

You need to consider the following questions.

Class 9th students don't have a low IQ, because they are introduced to a lot of new topics and things that they do not understand. Because of that, they struggle while dealing with class 9th.

Note: Class 9th is the base for your higher classes: class 10th, class 11th, and class 12th. The topics introduced in class 9th by CBSE, ICSE, and state boards are going to be elaborated on in higher classes. Nothing more.

All the top competitive exams ask questions from class 9th math. Exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, SCC, CGL, NDA, CDS.

And students who want to appear for the NDA exam after class 11th and in class 12th must ensure that they are lending 100% to their class 9th math.

1. Master your NCERT book or whatever book you have as your course book.

You need to master your NCERT book and your course book, which is only possible by solving it 4-5 times.

It doesn't matter how you solve it?

Buy coping all the answers from reference books or on your own, but you have to solve it 4 times minimum.

Once you have done that, then you can move to the second step.

2. Solve reference books of class 9th math?

You don't have to buy 2 or 3 books, only one book is enough, and do not try to solve each and every question of these reference books of class 9th, because some questions are above your level. And you also need to learn to use your reference books in the best possible way.

If you are going to appear for some competitive exams in the future then you can solve each question.

So, once you have done with a reference book, you need to have a good plan for your exam and a pre-perspective of your CBSE class 9 math exam pattern.

3. Analyze the CBSE class 9 math exam pattern or whichever board you belong to.

This is the most essential step of your preparation, you need to look at some previous years papers of class 9th, like, CBSE class 9 math exam paper 2019, CBSE class 9 math exam paper 2018.

These exam analyses will provide you with a pure view of your CBSE class 9th math test paper.

According to that, you can prepare your strategy, how you are going to solve your papers, and what kind of questions repeats every year.
